Flash Memory Stick as an External Drive?

by admin on June 6, 2010

Is it possible to use my “Memory Stick Pro Duo [Mark 2]” as an external drive to my computer?

Would it damage the “Memory Stick” if I were to install a Software in the “Mem, Stick”, and use it?

(Example of Software: Image/Video Editors and Video Games.)

Its safe to try, i am sure there will not be any damages, but i am not sure if will work.
1. The Flash drive isn’t a option when downloading/opening programs.
2. The Flash drive isn’t exactly meant for that. That is a job for a external hard drive. Not a Flash Drive!

It will work perfectly. I have a bunch of programs installed on a flash drive that i use for tech work.
